Venice Carnival

Venice Carnival is a photographer’s dream. Set within the beautiful architecture of Venice with the backdrop of Venice Lagoon, this event attracts people from all over the world. Costumed people arrive before dawn to pose and be photographed. They are created characters each with their own story. Imaginative masks and costumes are rich in detail and color. Images in this collection were photographed in the early morning and near sunset at St. Mark’s Square and San Giorgio during 2018.
