Namibia is a country of incredible landscapes and diverse wildlife. Positioned on the west coast of Africa between South Africa and Angola, Namibia is an arid country with the second lowest human population density of any country in the world. It is home to the world’s oldest desert and highest sand dunes. The country’s wildlife is diverse with the greatest populations residing in the northern half of the country, although wildlife can be found everywhere.
Photographs presented in this image gallery were taken over a large geographic area of the country. Locations included private reserves, coastal areas, and nationally-protected areas including Etosha National Park, Dead Vlei, and Sossus Vlei. Wildlife and birds were primarily photographed in Etosha National Park, Okonjima Nature Reserve, Naankuse Wildlife Sanctuary, and Walvis Bay.
